Arano’s Spanish Restaurant in Guadalupe, Cebu

Arano's Spanish Restaurant

Authentic paella and other Spanish dishes can be found beside the humble abode of the Spanish expat Mr. Angel Ibarlucea y Arano. The owner is very friendly and you can enjoy chatting with him while waiting for your food. He’s been here for many years even before I was born.

Address: Fairlane Village Rd, Cebu City, Philippines

Phone Number: 256-1934

Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6PM to 10PM

If you wish to order paella, you need to call and inform them two days ahead since they buy the ingredients early in the morning to ensure that only fresh ingredients are used.

Aside from paella, other specialties are also offered like steak, pasta and wine.

A lot of delicious dishes in this restaurant are budget-friendly. You can order beef steak for as low as 195 pesos. The Gambas con Pasta is one of the best tasting pasta dishes that I’ve tried. It’s only 140 pesos but you can see from the picture below that it has lots of shrimps. For those who love goat meat, they also serve spicy caldereta.

The atmosphere gives you a feel at home experience. The restaurant is also adorned with stuff and decorations straight from Spain.
