For those who are always asking, please see below for the updated contact numbers and room rates.

Mountain View Nature's Park in Busay, Cebu City

Mountain View Nature’s Park

Mountain View Nature’s Park is the nearest place in Cebu City where you can get a breath of fresh air. Thanks to this park, people from the city who want to unwind no longer need to travel further. The park is a romantic, clean and refreshing place where you can have a nice walk.

From Mount Busay, you’ll get a magnificent view of the City especially during the night where you can see the city lights. Mountain View offers function halls, a swimming pool, rope course adventures, camping sites, videoke, billiard, table tennis, playgrounds and rooms for rent if you wish to stay overnight.

There are also lots of picnic tables that you can use for free. There are restaurants in the park but the good thing is there’s no corkage fee so you can bring your own food.

Location and Contact Number

Mountain View Nature’s Park is located at Roosevelt Rd., Sitio Garaje, Brgy. Busay. To go there, you can ride a motorcycle (habal-habal) from JY Sqaure Lahug. The fare is usually 25 to 30 pesos per person. Be careful with drivers who charge higher fares. You can also get the  mobile number of the motorcycle driver so he could fetch you when you’re going home. Or alternatively, you can also avail of their transportation services. More information about this service is provided below.

You can contact Mountain View through the following numbers:

  • 09176312520

Mountain View’s rates are listed below:

Aside from the facilities and amenities, there are also lots to be seen at Mountain’s View like the colorful flowers and the cute cartoon character statues.

Red Parrot

Say hello to the red parrot who greets you at the entrance of Mountain View. He looks lonely though and I think he wants a bigger cage.

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh is also here!

Rope Course Adventure

For people who wants adventure, Mountain View offers its Rope Course Challenge. When compared to Papa Kit’s Cadlum’s Jungle, Mountain View’s rope course adventure is scarier and more exciting due to the fact that the park is located on the hillside of Mount Busay. Being on the hillside makes you feel that you’re on a higher place and that it’s really scary to fall.

Christmas Park and Millennium Cross

When I first entered this section, I thought “Oh, they forgot to remove the Christmas decors!” But when I saw the “Christmas Park” sign, I realized that it’s just Christmas in the area throughout the year. Among all the areas in Mountain View, this is the most colorful because of the brightly colored flowers and many of those remind me of my childhood in our province.

In this area, there’s also a coffee shop and lots of free tables where you can eat while enjoying the view of Cebu City from the top.

The central park has function halls for programs and business retreats. Of course, videoke machines are also available since Filipinos really love singing.  The only drawback of the videoke machines is you might get disturbed by the noise if you’re renting a room near the central park.

Just some of my favorite rooms in Mountain View. It’s really relaxing to stay in a room under pine trees.

Water Park and Children’s Playground

If you have kids, this is the place for them to enjoy. They also have a pool here for people who want to swim. I wish I had brought a swimming attire because I didn’t know that their swimming pool is attractive.

Overall, the experience at Mountain View is great. The place is clean and there are lots to do and to see in the park. The wind there is also fresh and really cool. It’s also ideal to spend the New Year there since it’s one of the highest points in Cebu allowing you to get a good view of the fire works.

Your number/s cannot be reached or nobody’s answering them. Your wireline also doesn’t work. Any other numbers?

      1. Louie

Do you have updated contact number? All the land line and mobile number I have seen in the net is not working.

        Thanks

    1. Author Post author

Sorry, those are the only numbers that I have… Or you can try dialing the number that I gave Jonathan above.

    1. Author Post author

I took the number from their Google plus page and brochures. I think that’s the best thing that you can do. Good luck. 🙂

      1. Rene

Land line numbers are: +63 (32) 316 4336 and – – 4332. Also their SUN cell phone number is working fine.

  2. Janine

Do you have a transportation service that picks up guests at the Pier? do you have a food corner that serves individual meals like breakfast lunch and dinner for a family of 6?? please update your contact numbers. lahat sila out of coverage.

    1. Author Post author

They have a transportation service. Please check the price list that I’ve posted above. They have food corners but I’m not sure if they serve individual meals. Sorry, I just took the numbers from the brochure they’ve given me.

  3. kesay

Wala na po bang ibang number? Di po talaga sila ng rereply. :/
Mgpapa reserve po ksi sana ako ng room para sa outing nming mg babarkada. May cut off time po ba yung pgrirent ng room nila??

    1. Author Post author

Sorry but those are the only numbers that I have. Those are from their Google plus page and the brochure they’ve given me. I’ll try to get a number when I get the chance to visit the place again.

    1. Author Post author

There’s no corkage free and there are lots of tables that you can use for free. 🙂

  4. Gemma Lhen

I’ve visited this place many times and it still excites me to be there! What are some other activities there besides zipline and rope courses by the way?

    1. Author Post author

Right now they only have rope course and zipline. But they were constructing something so I think there’ll be more activities in the future! I agree that it’s really exciting to visit the place again and again – fresh air, nice view and lots of activities to do!

  5. kesay

pero wala po silang cut-off time po para sa pag rirent ng room? I mean, makaka avail kami anytime ng room dun?

    1. Author Post author

I’m not sure if they have cut-off time but I think you can rent anytime as long as there’s a vacant room. To be sure, just rent a room in the morning or early in the afternoon.

    1. Author Post author

Some of the activities are open for only a certain time. The rope course adventure is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM while the water park also closes at 6:00 PM. But once, you have paid for the entrance fee, you can stay at the place from morning till night.

  6. frances

    1. Author Post author

Hi Riyan… The pool is open from around 8AM – 6PM. Unfortunately, they don’t have night swimming… They also accept walk-in guests…

  8. Dayan

    1. Author Post author

Hi Dayan. Yes, they offer transportation services. Please refer to the prices I’ve posted above under the Transportation category. 🙂

    1. Author Post author

Hi Jingle. Sorry but I haven’t really tried staying in one of their rooms. But I know that their rooms are air-conditioned and with private bathrooms.

  9. shrime

hi i just want to ask isn’t adult and kids swimming pool are separate and how many feet for the kids and also for the adult?

    1. Author Post author

There’s only one pool. I think there are parts that are deeper. But based on what I’ve seen, the pool really looks like a kiddie pool.

  10. shrime

are really swimming pool are only open till 6pm only is there no open for extension like having night swimming?

    1. Author Post author

I’ve heard from one of the care takers there that once you get inside before 6PM, you can swim there until 8PM. But that’s it, no more extensions.

    1. Author Post author

Hi… Sorry for that… I think they changed their numbers… I’ll update that once I get the chance to go back there.

  11. cristine baring

hi… ask lang ko if pwede ba dili mo rent ug cottage or room ngadto??? makigamit lang me sa free na table ngadto…kay gastos na na if mag rent gud. instead e rent e pay nalang namo sa other na activities like pool, zipline and etc..???

    1. Author Post author

Yes, it’s okay if you don’t rent a room and just use the free tables. You just need to pay for the entrance fee. But I’m not sure if they let people to stay there overnight without renting a room.

  12. cristine baring

thanks.. ahmm laSt question.. wat abouT sa pool okay lang BA dili mo rent sa ilang cottage adto.. pay lang me 100 entrance fee sa pool…e allow ba nila.. daghan baya me mga minimum of ten.. hehehe thanks for us to save ug maka pay ug mga outdoor activity didto… heheh

    1. Author Post author

Hi Cristine. I’m not sure about this but I think you’ll need to pay for the cottages in the pool area. There are lots of free tables but they’re outside the pool area.

  13. lovely billones

  14. gina

    Hi,

I would like to ask if we can hold a party there, if there is a good space for about 50-70 people and if they allow a catering service to supply food for our guests. Thanks.

    1. Author Post author

They have function halls that can accommodate around 50 – 70 people. I’m not sure though if they allow food catering service.

    1. Author Post author

Hi Selena. I’m not really sure if they allow rental for day use. But I think you can negotiate with them if there are lots vacant rooms. 🙂

  15. Joy

What is the best tour itinerary when we go there, especially that the place is big and I want to maximize the time spent there? I am planning to have swimming in morning for the kids and then lunch and start tour around maybe 2pm up to say 6pm? I haven’t been there…

    1. Author Post author

Hi Joy. That sounds perfect. The place is quite big but you’ll be able to tour it and try the activities in one day. I was able to tour the whole place in one afternoon. But since you’ll go swimming, I suggest that it’s better if you arrive there at 9AM in the morning. 🙂

  16. Farrell

Hi miss Author you did a really good job for posting this pics and prices here. Now i know were to spend my honeymoon after my merrage..
    Thanks….. 🙂

  17. Shang

Miss, I just wanna ask if we stay there until 5 A.M, is there any additional fee, even we ever bring our own tent?

    1. Author Post author

Hi Shang. There’s no additional payment even if you stay until 5 AM. But I’m not sure if they allow guests to bring tents.

      1. Shang

Thankyou so much Miss Author. We are planning to go there this sat and we are confused. Are we allow to stay til 5 AM without getting any room? Like, just to stay in their free benches or table.

        1. Author Post author

I’m not sure if this rule still applies until today but the last time I went there, we were able to stay til early morning without renting a room.

    1. Author Post author

Hi Yayang. Sorry but we’re not connected with Mountain View. You can try contacting them through the numbers provided.

    1. Author Post author

Hi Mica. I didn’t get the chance to take photos of their rooms. But some of their rooms have hot & cold showers, televisions, air conditioners and terrace with sunset view. 😉

  18. EDCEL

Can we bring our own tent? If so, do we have to pay for something? ..If avail mi good for 4pax nga room, pila bayad sa excess nga person? .. naay corkage? ..

    1. Author Post author

Hi Edcel. I’m not sure if they allow their guests to bring tents. You may contact them to inquire more about their room rates. There’s no corkage fee.

  19. baba

i heard that we can ride 04h or puj with a route of plaza housing and munaog sa skina sa mountain view and it is just walking distance to mountain view. can u estimate how many kilometers is the distance form that point to the resort…

  20. Ken

Kana sa ilang Swimming Pool 1st Flor 15 pax for 1,000
By 15 pax 15 person max na? Nya kana 1,000 per hour na nga charge?

    1. Author Post author

Hi Ken. 1000 pesos is the rental from 8AM to 12 midnight. There will be an additional of 10% of the daily rate per hour after 12 midnight. I’m not sure if 15 is really the maximum. Maybe you can try negotiating with the resort.

Do they provide the sound system inclusive of the rental? how many hours man ni siya? is that a per hour rate, the one that ou posted? Thanks a lot

    1. Author Post author

Congratulations on your wedding Rose! However, we’re not connected with the resort so it’s better if you contact them directly for more accurate information.

  31. Tin

Hi Tin. The rooms are located in different areas of Mountain View – it’s a big place. They’re for rent.

    1. Author Post author

Hi Jonathan. The 400 Pesos is for one way only. You can bring your own food but I don’t think they allow guests to cook there.

        1. Author Post author

I didn’t see any grilling area. Maybe they only allow ready to eat food to keep the area clean.

  38. Ethel R. Pagangpang

hi admin.. okay lang ba magdala og tent? okay lang ba mag tent lang mi para no need to rent for a room? plan namo mo stay night time tpos plan to head home mga kadlawn mangud…

    1. Author Post author

Yes you can bring your own tent but I’m not sure if there will be additional payment for overnight stay.

  39. Cathy

Hi ms. Once maka pay nakas entrance, maka try na ba ka sa rope course adventure and etc?Or kailangan pa mo pay for the adventures? If yes, how much would it cost? Your reply will be much appreciated. Thank you.

    1. Author Post author

There’s a different payment for the rope course adventure. Last time it was 150 pesos per person.

    1. Author Post author

I think the swimming pool use is not inclusive in the room rates. Maybe you can check in early if there’s no guest prior to your arrival and if they have already finished cleaning the room.

  40. Jessa

Hi po, if were going to pay the intrance fee 50 pesos..meron pa din po bang intrance fee for the pool? Like two intrances ang babayaran dapat? Thank u

    1. Author Post author

It’s just for the entrance fee. You’ll have to pay separately if you want to try their adventure challenges.

        1. Author Post author

I think the entrance fee will be voided if you will book a room. But you’ll still need to pay for the pool entrance.

    1. Author Post author

I don’t think there’s night swimming because the pool is only open at a certain schedule.
