Nacpan Beach is one of the best unspoiled beaches you can visit in the Philippines. It has a long stretch of fine sand and the lack of commercial buildings allows you to enjoy the view at its finest.
The place is most famous for its twin beaches, Nacpan & Calitang.
To go to Nacpan, you can hire a motorbike or a tricycle for around 1,000 Pesos. You’ll need to pass a dirt road before getting there and it’s really muddy and slippery after a rain. There was a part where we had to walk because the trike needed to be pushed. The entrance fee is 50 Pesos but they said you don’t have to pay it if your motorbike crashes on the dirt road. Well, I’m glad that we didn’t have an accident and it’s much better to just pay the entrance fee. Our Nacpan tour was included in the tour package that we booked with Northern Hope so we only had to pay for the entrance fee.
There are some stores there selling food buy you may bring your own food if you wish.
The weather was still bad during our trip here but thankfully the view was still spectacular.
The waves were quite strong because of the gloomy weather but we just enjoyed playing in the waves.
Nacpan beach was a hidden destination before but it has now gained prominence so most tourists who visit El Nido include Nacpan in their itinerary. I just hope that they preserve the beauty that it has now.
