Tinuy-an Falls – The Niagara Falls of Surigao del Sur

Tinuy-an Falls

Tinuy-an falls is said to be the widest falls in the Philippines and is touted as the Niagara, or shall I say the LITTLE Niagara of Surigao. The water of Tinuy-an falls flows beautifully in three cascading layers.

The falls is not very popular in the country but I’d say that it’s the best in the country. When you visit there, make sure you’ll be there between 9 AM to 11 AM so you could witness the majestic rainbow appearance. The place is simply magnificent and it has even appeared in the International Travel Magazine.
